Archery
Archery is a very popular activity at Camp Kingswood! We have a large flat surfaced archery range, complete with a half dozen full size targets. Our campers can choose from a variety of bows ranging in styles and size. Our certified and trained archery instructors provide a program that is just as exciting for the novice archer and those with advanced skills. The Kingswood archery program not only builds skills, but it’s incredibly fun!

Boys Side
Building community starts in the bunk! Our cabins, units and two sides of camp are all uniquely positioned to create a welcoming and safe environment, while also optimizing the opportunity for fun, spirit, and building friendships.
The boy’s side of camp has three tiers arranged by age group to enhance the community building experience with a camper’s unit. The boy’s side also features a multipurpose field in the middle of the village. Campers and staff love our rustic cabins that range from brand new to traditional bunks for our oldest age groups. Cabins have toilets and sinks located inside the bunk and they are located nearby the central bathroom/shower house in the middle of the village.
All counselors and specialists live in bunks with their campers. Allowing for additional support and an amazing shared experience. Our leadership and supervisor living quarters are spread throughout each unit and side of camp, providing excellent support and supervision throughout the summer.
Canoe & Kayak Dock
Camp Kingswood sits on the pristine and private cove of Woods Pond, a quiet, nearly 500-acre lake that provides our campers limitless water access activities all summer long. With 1000 feet of shoreline, our waterfront is a unique and breathtaking feature of Camp Kingswood, providing a magical backdrop right in the center of camp.
While we focus on fun, we also take water safety and instruction very seriously. Our canoe and kayak dock is located right next to our outdoor programming activity space. The amazing waterfront at Kingswood is perfect for both new canoer/kayakers and old pros. Our talented and highly-trained staff teach our campers the basics and advanced skills while cruising around our 500 acre lake. Campers have the opportunity to advance their skills while checking out our lake and enjoying views of the White Mountains in the distance. Kingswood canoe/kayak instructors are all certified lifeguards with years of experience in their boating craft.
Chapel
“Jewish day school is where our boys developed their Jewish head. Camp is where they found their Jewish heart.” – Karen, camp parent.
At Kingswood we don’t believe there is one “right” way to be Jewish, and we welcome campers from all different backgrounds and perspectives. We have campers for whom camp is their only Jewish experience, and others who attend Jewish Day School. No matter your background, everyone feels welcome and included at Kingswood.
Our Shabbat services are campers and staff led, and filled with music, prayers, poems, and even skits. We borrow from all movement based traditions and make up some of our own! The ruach (spirit) of our services is unbelievable and leaves many of our campers feeling a new and deeper connection to their Jewish self.
We utilize our chapel in the woods for many of our services. However, we don’t limit ourselves to one place and can be found around camp in places like the Old Rec, at the Waterfront, or on the Upper Fields, depending on the occasion.
Dining Hall
“Don’t tell my mom, but I wish I could eat at Kingswood all year!” – Noah, age 10
Picture yourself in a mountain ski lodge and you’ll be able to see the Kingswood Dining Hall. It’s an amazing facility outfitted with two fireplaces and a second story program space. Meals are a blast at camp! Campers sit with their bunkmates, allowing for ample social time to catch up on their days. Our staff are trained to help campers navigate mealtime, whether it’s venturing beyond their norms to try new foods, dealing with the excitement and noise of a full dining hall, or learning how to share and pass food around a big table. Meals include funny skits, music, cheering and dancing, ensuring that three times each day campers are given an extra boost of fun! At least once a week we have a BBQ by the lake, which is a favorite for lots of kids!
Our talented food service team works with us to create menus that are both delicious and healthy. Served family-style, our meals are comprised of kid-friendly Kosher food campers love to eat. You won’t find us serving pre-packaged frozen foods—our chefs take great pride in preparing what our campers eat from scratch, often using fresh herbs and vegetables from our camp garden. In addition to the main meal, there’s a full self-serve salad bar available at every meal. At breakfast, campers will find a variety of yogurts, granola, fruits, hard boiled eggs, and cheeses, and at lunches and dinners there are always tons of salad choices, including several proteins and optional meal choices like pasta.
Flag Pole
Our camp Flag Pole is located on our waterfront and it’s one of our main meeting points. Each morning we raise both the American and Israeli flags. While our Flag Pole is a great spot to meet with friends, the areas surrounding it get a ton of action. Tetherball, gaga, nine square, jamming on guitar, hanging in a hammock with friends or playing a game of cards, the Flag Pole area is full of fun. It’s also home to one of our many campfire circles and some pretty amazing sunset views!
Girls Side
Building community starts in the bunk! Our cabins, units and two sides of camp are all uniquely positioned to create a welcoming and safe environment, while also optimizing the opportunity for fun, spirit, and building friendships.
The girl’s side of camp has three tiers arranged by age group to enhance the community building experience with a camper’s unit. The girl’s side features a variety of gathering spaces in the middle of each unit. Campers and staff love our rustic cabins that range from brand new to traditional bunks for our oldest age groups. Most cabins have toilets and sinks located inside the bunk and all are located nearby the central bathroom/shower houses in the middle of each unit.
All counselors and specialists live in bunks with their campers. Allowing for additional support and an amazing shared experience. Our leadership and supervisor living quarters are spread throughout each unit and side of camp, providing excellent support and supervision throughout the summer.

Our fully stocked canteen provides campers and staff with a few comforts of home. Whether it’s purchasing some of our incredible camp swag or a tasty snack, our canteen is a fun visit for everyone. Families are able to add canteen dollars to their camper’s account remotely. Camper visits to the canteen are limited to a few times each week.
